# Colorbond Gate Drawing Rules

## Locked Colorbond selections

- Default hinge set: adjustable Jono H16ET trunnion with H16GP gudgeon; alternatives remain selectable and are never chosen automatically from gate height.
- Jono H16ET: 120 mm threaded trunnion. H16GP: 16 mm pin, dimensions A65/C31. The supplied catalogue does not publish a load rating.
- Double gate: one vertical drop bolt on each leaf, with keepers for closed and open positions. Default Masterworks bolt is solid Ø15 × 500 mm, 90 mm handle offset, three brackets and 4.2 mm self-drilling screws. Supplier handedness viewpoint is to be confirmed.
- Keeper/socket and footing dimensions are to be confirmed; do not infer them.
- Single gate: Jono DLSI D-latch and strike. A Jono PBS/PBL pad bolt is added only when specified.
- EGW = actual gate weight per leaf × leaf width ÷ hinge separation. No 0.8 factor. Weight and hinge separation must be supplied or calculated from confirmed components; otherwise EGW is `NOT SPECIFIED`. No hinge adequacy claim without a published rating.

## Drawing rules

- Draw and schedule the same selected product, code, dimensions, hand, quantity and source.
- Show unknown values as `NOT SPECIFIED` or `TO BE CONFIRMED`; never infer dimensions, loads, fixings or materials.
- Drop bolts travel vertically into a ground keeper. Shoot bolts and pad bolts travel horizontally into a receiving member.
- Handed hardware follows the Jono convention: viewed from inside the gate, looking at the gate. Masterworks LH/RH viewpoint remains to be confirmed.
- Drawings are not compliance certifications. Structural adequacy for site conditions must be confirmed by a suitably qualified person.
